Neil knew how to get the sound that he was hearing in his head. The solo from "When You Dance I Can Really Love" is a perfect walk when a run just wouldn't make any sense.

OK perhaps some sacrilege here: when guys like Townshend and Ashton tried to play outside their pay grade they'd start out OK but dribble off without ever bringing it home.
