Shaving Cream Usage.

Trumpers Rose cream or the wonderful Tabac soap. Both applied by best badger brush, just as the good Lord intended.

Shaving cream? Gasoline and a bowie knife here. Then I pat dry gently with a chamois made from the hide of a two-dicked unicorn.

Seriously, though, I do use a straight razor about once a week for goatee maintenance, and only with shaving soap and a brush - and the chamois of course...

:lmao::lmao:....:tears:

:lmao: Thanks, that was great. :D I'm with the guys who use water and a blade. All that foam does is make it harder to see your face, & easier to cut yourself. ;) @ Stephen J, I'd accuse you of stealing my idea, but you were 2 minutes faster. ;)

My wife bought me an electric Braun of the most expensive variety several years back and I have not used a razor since. At least 5 years.

Edge and other shaving gels. I used to use a mug and brush with Williams shaving soap that was good also.

Mug and brush and Williams, but I think foam or gel is better - just too cheap in stupid small stuff like this.

The kids always ask me what I want for father's day and now I have the perfect response. Which one is your favorite?

Trumpers is more luxurious, and maybe a bit more special, but as far as a shaving soap goes, Tabac is just perfect. There really isn't anything better.

36 grit on a belt sander. Then splash on a little turpentine. Ear, nose and eye protection is recommended.
