Right now it's a Pair of hot-rodded KLF 20's with 12 ga. internal wiring, titanium K-79-k tweeter diaphragms and a pair of Bob Crites' custom crossovers.

How did you wind up with s/n #'s 1 and 2??:drool:

Audition a pair!?? I'm a lot closer to the source than you may think. But I'm not going there...not here. I heard the LS II's before anyone here did and before any announcement was made of there existence.

The materials may indeed be from Birch plywood but the rolloff figure came straight from the re-designer mouth. I was there, in person when he said it.:thmbsp:

You'll have to excuse my ignorance here. Not familiar with everyones' background. The day I first heard the La Scalas back in the '70s in Connecticut.. well it was like no other speaker experience before. They were astonishing! Not my first choice today however. Also have a Bibliography of Audio Papers dated 1977 from Klipsch with all of the thirty reprints from 1934 to 1976 in an official three-ring volume. Taken together, they practically define stereo reproduction.
