Do you carry a Pocket knife ?

Or.. could be I heated mine up a touch a few weeks back before I dug a splinter outta my finger when I was out workin in the garage..

Should have been more worried about the tip being sharper than cleaner.. hurt like a sum bitch..

Carrying a knife in England carries a mandatory jail sentence if you're caught with one (not sure if there's a minimum blade length).

We went to tour Hoover Dam, and right there big as can be, said no weapons/knives/guns/whatever..

You had to go through a metal detector... before I got to it, I pulled mine out, and asked them if they could keep it there and I would pick it up on the way out. (We were on a tour, and the hummer left until we were done)

The park ranger took it, looked it a second, looked at me, handed it back and said just don't let anyone see it..

mmmmmm... theatre at it's finest...

Usually have three or four in my pockets and satchel. Puma, Gerber (real), Victorinox, Schrade, Craftsman, Boker, Browning, etc.

Pix here somewhere.

Once did a gallery installation where I stuck every blade I owned into the wall (from pocket knives to steak knives to Xacto knives to filet knives). Seems there were about 146 of the suckers quivering under the gallery lights.

Usually carry...

..one of the top two cheapos daily.
Always carry the bottom one when I'm in the field.

These get rotated, among others.

Currently carrying a Benchmade Nagara. Real stunner in blue titanium and polished stainless. And it's from their Chinese line, so I don't feel too bad carrying it, even though it still wasn't cheap.

For a looong time(2000-2010), I carried a Kershaw Wild Wild Turkey. Another good looking, titanium-handled folder. I eventually picked up the G10 version and one of the recent re-releases of that one as well.

The blade of the Wild Wild Turkey's been sharpened so much, it's significantly smaller than it was. I emailed Kershaw to see if a replace blade could be bought. Their reply was they were long out of stock, but if I sent in the knife, they'd replace it with anything in their current catalog, up to the original value of my knife, no charge. Their customer service is second to none.

I have the "Worlds Most Expensive" Victorinox Climber..... Only cost $35.00 new but after mailing it to myself at five separate airports because I had forgotten it was in my pocket, the price just soared!

My last flight, as I waited in the screening line, I realized I had one of my favorite Pumas in my pocket. I saw a place that might go un-noticed in the buffer zone between security zones, and I put it in the "out of the way" location just before the I got to the x-ray machines. I was able to retrieve it the next day.

Found my Buck 442U buried in a drawer. Lots of people say its not the greatest, but I love it. Its super light weight and holds a great edge. Its in my pocket now.
