That must be why you have surrounded yourself with so much of Mr. Klipsch’s finest efforts over the last several decades. ;)

Pulease..... keep my secret. I'm a closet horny. (or is that a Horny in the closet?) I don't know, both sound a bit creepy.

And screechy ... cuz some guy on the interweb ran from the room ...

True story: I've had a fair number of people over to give a listen. Once, had two fellow gents. What I noticed is as I turned the volume up.....they slowly meandered about and were at the back of the room. As I turned it down, they meandered closer to the front. What I didn't know at the time is I generally had higher listening habits than they did (or maybe they were disgusted by my deoderant??) Still, it was kind of funny as it was as though I could control them with the volume.

Bro you can just put some toilet paper over them, makes em smooth as butter :rflmao:

Oh, I did a total fake out once.....

But as someone with crohn's, I'm totally game to hear about the peanut butter toilet paper!!! Hopefully, it's smooth and creamy verses the crunchy variety.

Interesting that the LF cabinet is vented/ported, similar to the ported risers some folks make for the La Scala.

I don't profess to be an expert at all on this BUT, I think it's different. The ported LaScala is directly venting that driver space (if I recall the raised box with two ports in them)

anyway, venting that driver space directly to the listening room. Roy is venting the 'missing driver' directly into the throat (or something) of the HORN.

So you get some of the benefit of the venting and some benefit of the horn. I don't think the LaScala situation does that.

That said, I've never seen one of these in person so I could be WAY off base and if so, apologize up front for possibly adding confusion.

I know they are coming out with the 75th Anniversary Jubilee, but I hope they make it a part of the standard Heritage line up. I sold my 70th Anniversary Khorns and My Cornwall IV’s so I can buy the Jubilee. I would like to buy a standard pair and not pay the additional cost for the anniversary edition. Until they become available I will keep rocking my AL5 La Scallas.
