here goes,a lot of newer stuff,,but thats slowly changing

h/t system
jvc 30 in widescreen tv
jvc dvd player
onkyo sx-r502 receiver
jvc s-vhs vcr
cv ls-12 mains
cv ls 5c center
cv avs surrounds and rear center
dcm sw1 sub (2)
niles dps-1 switch box

music rig
onkyo 8511 receiver
older onkyo cassette deck
older onkyo cdplayer
onkyo eq
onkyo tt

this list changes a lot

My "living room" is also my main listening room.

Speakers: Snell Type C
Amplifier: Sima W-3050
Pre-Amplifier: Sima P-2001
TT: Denon DP-59L w/ Audio Technica cartridge
CD: Toshiba 3950 (stock at the moment)
Interconnects: Homebrew (Canare stuff, mostly)

I'm currently using a pair of Bozak B302s (that my wife won't let me get rid of) as a stand until I get around to building a real one.

Pioneer SX 1250 (PS Audio UO 20 amp)w(dedicated AC line)
VMPS BCSE MLS 626Rs w/Auricaps and FSTs (AudioQuest)
VMPS LARGER SUB w/mega woofers (ff)(Audioquest)
Denon DVM 2815 DVDA/CD (Audioquest ICs)

upstairs:
Pioneer SX 1250
Bozak 510s (I think) I've had them so long, model #s fail me. 2'sq. & PITA to move
Thorens TD126 MKIII (with a 2 arms) and a Sunfire pre for LPs into the Pioneer
Nakamichi 680ZX/Teac 640
Denon 510 CD

I'm enjoying either ESP Concert Grand or Speaker Art TL

speakers. Electronics are a "Vinnie" modified Toshiba 3950, to either a Sonic Euphoria or Placette passive preamp into a Acoustic Reality (Ice technology) amplifier. Stax SRS-4040 Signature headphones round enable late night listening sessions without disturbing my family (see daughter "Heather" in my avatar).

My set-up is humble compared with what most of ya'll are showing here...

Sansui G7500
Sony cd player
Toshiba dvd player
JBL 4312A speakers

....right, don't recall model #'s of cd & dvd...to damn lazy to get up and go look.
TV is a 27" Zenith...yeah thats small, but "Monster-Garage" & "Mythbusters" is still enjoyable....even on a small screen!

Russ

Carver C-1 preamp
Carver M1.5t power amp
Carver Tx-11a tuner
Dbx 3bxlll dynamic range expander
ADC ss-315x eq
Technics sl-p770 single cd
Pioneer pd-tm2 18 disc cd
Pioneer ct-f1250 cassette
Cambridge Soundworks New Ensemble II sub/sat

My new babies (hpm 100's) are being enjoyed by my brother at his house for now. I'm trying to figure out how to get them home without the wife beating the crap out of me. :scratch2:

I love it!! Simple and perfect. But this isn't your main system is it? (do you listen to radio exclusively?)

Ken, I understand, this is your living room system, but you've got lots of other toys as I've found written in your signature. I think sometimes simplicity is the best. To me, simplicity inspires creativity. If technology makes it all for you or makes it all too easy, that's not *always* a progress toward higher quality living I think. But this is getting O/T.
