Whats In Your Living Room System!!!!!

I have this problem of moving componets around, the 27 tosibia is in the back room and the Sonys is in the bedroom.By the way the 300's do rock even though the are crappy horn loaded JBLs but for 810.00 I will never complain.I had a pair of L-65 on top and the wall of sound was staggering.I also have a projector that I am sceeming into the works for the front system.By the way your set up is so freaking SWEET!Thats to include the Border Collie?Great dogs and a very nice setup, have a great week.

I know my system is a bit pedestrian compared to some of the flat out beautiful set ups here - but she sounds very good to me. As always - a work in progress.

Hafler DH500
Nad 2200PE
Hafler 110 pre
California Audio DAC
Sony RCD W10 cdp

Paradigm 9 v2 as fronts
Polk Monitor 7s as rears.

The little Dahlquists on the stands are part of the "HT" rig - Pay no attention to them :)

Nice stuff guys!!!!

Unit 1, The Livingroom System:

Mcintosh MA 6100 Amp front speakers
Marantz 4070 Quad Amp in 2 channel for rear speakers

Onkyo T-4 Tuner

Sony 27" monitor

Teac 450 Cassette Deck
Teac 1230 Reel to Reel Deck
Teac 7010 Reel to Reel Deck

Have had a load of fun with this setup :thmbsp: Most of it purchased on Ebay. The Mac has been a pleasure. It was designed with "music" in mind. Home theater is not a priority. For my needs its great.

Trawlerman, you are the first person I have ever seen anywhere who owns the Quad 77-10L speakers. I would enjoy reading a mini-review of these speakers if you don't mind providing one. I have never even seen a pair of Quad 77-10L speakers before, although I read much about them in British high fidelity magazines in the late 90s. What are the physical dimensions of these speakers? Are they similar in size to the current Quad 11L or 12L? What is the strongest point about the performance of this speaker? I seem to recall that British reviewers stated that these speakers might not please those who predominantly listen to rock recordings, but might be more preferable to small ensemble acoustic music, jazz and classical. What was the price, if I may ask? I never recall reading a price in terms of American dollars. The rest of your system looks very nice as well. I must commend you on your selections.
