Hi Jeff,

Remind me in a month as I always seem to rotate my speakers out. They are certainly very nice although somewhat different from what I am used to.

They are in super condition with the exception of two of the legs that seem to have been replaced. The stain on them is not as finished (aged) as the others but appear as exact replicas.

The "PAD" is a long story but all I will say is I am happy to have some peace for awhile from the daily bitching for things perceived but on only in the mind of the one doing the bitching.

Will do. If you feel inclined to ship them, we'd be very interested to have them here to keep around as a reference speaker. A lot of reviewers like to say "they image just like a pair of vintage Quads..." I would love to have them for that reason.

I rarely actually listen to music in the living room as that is where the TV lives these days and watching that is something I do very rarely. The system in that room is geared to surviving teenagers (who turn the bass all the way up, the treble all the way down and never check what the volume is set at when they turn things on). There is a Teac AX75 MkII integrated, B&W 2004 ZMF speakers, a Panasonic DVD player that doubles playing CD's and a 27" Toshiba TV. There is a Yamaha T-760 tuner which usually lives with the rest of the set-up, but which I've been experimenting with elsewhere lately. Actually, the whole system sounds pretty decent when run flat, just not as much to my taste as the systems elsewhere in the house.

I actually have a second "living room system" now as I put one together and took it to the cottage recently. It is an Onkyo TX-810 receiver, Yamaha NS-1000MM speakers (little guys but very nice) and a Magnavox CD player. Quite enjoyed it....

Ok... well, my living room system really isn't worth looking at, but here are a couple more that are a bit more attractive; definitely not up to the standard being set by many here, but I like them! They both sound much better than they look....

Studio/study/music room: Conrad Johnson PV12 & MV45, Vandersteen 2C (yes, they need to be farther apart and have shorter stands!), Thorens TD125 (Linn Basik, Ortophon MC10, Clearaudio phono pre), Sony 608ESD CDP (heavily modified), Yamaha CT-1010 tuner (mods), Teac C-3RX cassette, Revox A-77 mkI, B-77 (not in pic), dbx switching box for tape machines

Library system: Marantz 4300 receiver, Magnavox 5 CD player (upgraded), EPI 100 speakers (re-capped and upgraded wiring)

Cottage system: Onkyo TX-810 receiver, Magnavox 5 CD player, Yamaha NS-1000MM speakers

I also have a system in my shop: Yamaha CA-1010 intergrated, Carver CDP, Onkyo T-9 tuner, Klipsch KG-4 speakers

In the bedroom: Technics SA-7000 receiver, 3a Apogee speakers, looking for a CDP to match

The previously-mentioned living room system: Teac AX75 mkII integrated, Panasonic DVD player (doubles for CD's), Yamaha T-760 tuner, B&W 2004 ZMF speakers, Toshiba 27" TV

Apart from this speakers are a bit of a fluid experience. I have a few pair out of the rotation keep changing the combinations; it keeps my ears fresh....
