Ugliest Headshell Ever Made!

I picked up mine used for less than half the typical price.

They seem to be really popular with the MC crowd, especially with the MC Denons. Most generic Technics style headshells weigh in the 9 - 10g range. I'm currently using the Pioneer PC-HS01 headshell. Other than the Pioneer Dj logo, I like the looks of this headshell, and is seems well made:

It also weighs 10g and I'm running it with this cart:

I plan on running a similar cart on the Orsonic (at least initially, I may eventually get the bug to give an MC cart a try)

Hideous or not? I kind of like the way it shows off a cartridge.

I get that.
I like the look of the Pickering XV-15 cartridge, and I'm sure some people don't.
That headshell does let you see more of the cartridge.

I have one of those, too:

I like the sound, a lot, but the looks don't do anything for me.

I prefer the retro logo and curved plastic sides of the vintage Shure much more. If you don't like the mellow yellow color of the M73PE Pacific, it also came in grey as the M31E, M32E, RS120E and RS220E:
