Has to be something that Donnie & Marie or Sonny & Cher covered on their shows. (Mike Douglas and Dinah Shore were the worst at covering songs on their shows, as well.)

Or the Pavarotti Duet album. He covered Willie Nelson, didn't he? (Why can't opera singers sing popular songs?)

I loved Steve & Edy Gorme with "Black Hole Sun". Excellent. (Thinking outside the box, for sure.)

And loved Sinatra with "Something" (George Harrison). In fact, Sinatra said that was the greatest song ever written.

That actually ain't half-bad. It kinda' sounds like he hired some of the Little Feat guys for this (or some really-good sound-alike musicians to play like Bill Payne, Ritchie Hayward, and Kenny Gradney)

I've got an album by Tiny Tim with Brave Combo, where they do a lounge style cover of "Stairway to Heaven." The cha-cha-cha version of "Hey Jude" is even better (or worse, depending on one's point of view).

I met Pat Boone during his signing of this CD at Tower Records in San Francisco. I was just there when he showed up. I didn't buy the CD but I stood in line and when it was my turn I just said that "I didn't have much money but I'd really appreciate it if I could have his autograph on a piece of paper". He said: N O.

I was just a pretty broke student at the time.

What an A$$.

No big deal. I would of threw the autograph away anyway. I mean...Pat Boone 'trying so hard' to be Metal. Give me a break. He even rode in with his light-weight rich buddies on motorcycles.

He was really: 'NOT a Nice Guy'. We exchanged some 'not nice guy words'. (So I guess I got into a verbal with Pat Boone! haha)

The CD name says it all, truthfully. What a complete JERK. What an A$$. Honestly. He wasn't a very nice human being.

Glad to see he is nominated as Worst Cover Ever! LOL. 'That' makes me happy!!
